Recently, a beta update of WhatsApp adds a bunch of new features including Facebook stickers, group calling, etc, to the popular chat app.
The beta update version for Android: 2.17.443.
WhatsApp Beta Updates:
According to a report, the chat app is bringing Facebook stickers on board, which will be grouped according to the stickers’ categories.
Also, WhatsApp has removed the ‘show all contacts’ option, which was reported to be a bug. Earlier, as confirmed by the developers about the group voice calls, the new beta update has hints of group video and voice call.
Because the app has stopped the support to switch between voice and video calls, which suggests that it might bring a group voice and group video call option
Aside from a new layout for the GIF button and an option to manage groups that allow the admin to remove a person from a group, WhatsApp recently published the ‘Reply Privately” feature with the beta update. The feature allows a user to respond to another user in the group without other group members knowing about it. Which was later dropped from the beta version of the app.
